About the second shot, it is looking out of the area covered by the Southern Lakes Adventure scenery. The quality of the RealNZ scenery really shows just how poor the basic MSFS scenery is, even with a 20m mesh. Got the FSX running at 1920 resolution, which makes things look a lot better, even if it does reduce the frame rates a bit. Also a lot of tweaking to push the laptop to its limits as well, but it seems to be paying off. Much easier to get good screenshots in FSX, and thanks to a tip from another NZFF member (sorry, I forgot who), I am getting higher resolution shots via IFRAN view as...

Thanks Guys! This time I think It really helped me, by instead of just getting random grass and adding it in, but trying to recreate actual photos, then adding the real world details. I shall have to try more often /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

I was on the left side of the 737 from LAX, looking out the window and heading further east than I've ever been in my life. I looked down, and recognised the ground beneath me! But, I'd never been there before! It was simply that the photo real scenery in flight sim was SO good, that I recognised where I was due to being there before in FS9. Very cool!! I said to myself "That's Luke AFB and Phoenix must be...
