Andrew that paint should be on the FS 2004 version. The SF260 was the second or thrid payware aircraft I bought (for FS 2002) - I have updated it to FS 2004 since and still fly. Great aircraft - aerobatics - cross country trips. I ws speaking to somebody the other day that owned (in Aussie) a RL one and it was one of his favourite aircraft but unfortunatley somebody pranged it (he owned a flying school) otherwise he would still own it.

Back to the "Awesome 4some" models, I'm surprised there hasn't been much hype over them, they look truly amazing! Is there any chance they will work in fs2004, just by copying the model into the aircraft folder or something?

Love the variety of angles you have captured there Peppermint, particually the second to bottom shot from the road over the bridge! By the way, how come you have different water textures visible in the last shot?

QUOTE (creator2003 @ Feb 27 2008, 04:35 AM) Hamilton buildings are to fit in with it and this scenery does look its best with it installed ,as does any scenery with photoreal mapping . Yes I have Robins old photoreal and it looks great with your Hamilton buildings in FS 2004, just doesnt show up in FSX for me. As I recall it looked like it was made using a slightly lower-res image than the other old Godzone scenery-maybe not sharp enough to be worth redoing for FSX? Your CBD objects look fine for me in FSX though. Raglan 2007 seems to work well in the current sim too. I finally caved...

A few more taken of what has become one of my favorite aircraft to take up in FS2004, the Serephum Wasp. True VTOL capability, top speed in excess of 240 Kts on the deck, and easy to fly, with a simple cockpit. This was a trip from Wellington Intl. to Wanaka.

The paint should happen today but, the maintenance workers for Delta have gone on strike thus (for a good price) FL350 @ Cincinnati is repainting two of their DC-9's but the Fokker should hopefully go. (The real story is, Graphics research + designing decals for a DC-3 model and painting etc. but I should get it started today)

QUOTE (happytraveller @ Feb 13 2008, 04:07 PM) have followed the advice to turn off anti-aliasing in FSX and make the graphics card do it instead. This is I think an excellent idea. If your graphics card can handle it, then it's probably best to let that stuff reside in hardware. As opposed to having it done by software (as I'm imagining that option in FSX would). Cheers Anthony Harris

That's great! Happytraveller, you take some really great screenshots. I see you've already entered the SS comp, otherwise I would have suggested it. The scenery is damn-near photorealistic. Cheers Anthony Harris

Oh I like these shots too. I think you may have a bit of a knack for producing excellent FS screen shots. I must say that on 2x, the water textures look much better than in your other thread FSX screenshots . So now I have seen water in FS that isn't too bad. The lighting in these ones are very good too. Dawn, Sunset and Twilight seem to make really interesting and nice lighting. Cheers Anthony Harris :plane:

QUOTE (Peppermint @ Feb 16 2008, 06:10 AM) Looks very nice, I've just been flying around Wanaka a bit too. How come your rivers and lakes don't have giant cliffs in them? Apart from the natural cliffs in the Clutha River, I guess that if you have got cliffs in the rivers and lakes that you still have some default Wanaka scenery installed, or perhaps the original Christian Stock lakes fix. Try removing all the old lake fixes and any other default scenery for Wanaka (eg from the cds that were produced before RealNZ). smooth landings.
