QUOTE (Charl @ Dec 30 2007, 09:05 PM) Dreamfleet Baron and that fancy GPS installation springs to mind - would crash every other plane on my sim and is now consigned to the past tense. hmmm interesting comment about the Baron Charl that I am not the only one with these problems - I actually had the Baron working fine in my old PC/FS but cant load the GPS for it in in my new system - I think the CTD problem actually lies with the Eaglesoft Cirrus not the Eaglesoft Twin Comanche .

The scenery is Horizon's GenX (1.2m photo), for FSX (naturally). I do have autogen for the area, but it hasn't been reinstalled yet after my PC rebuild (that goes for the Needles at the other end of the island too, sorry Trolly). The disused airfield in pic 3 is Thorney Island , and in pic 5, Beaulieu Bembridge is one of my favourite £100 Hamburger destinations (and the first place I flew to after getting my PPL) - the 'Crab & Lobster', right next to the coastguard lookout, 5 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes on foot from the airfield.

Hugh - and anyone else who is not aware of the site. Heaps of repaints including Pionair, NAC, RNZAF etc. They have an upgrade from the original release for FSX and MAAM must be one of the first to provide a fix for the problems that Acceleration presented re props and VC transparency issues (see avsim MAAM forum). A beautiful model for a sentimental 'oldie" Norm

Don't want to start a new thread, just playing with some different flavours to see how they display. These from Cook Strait

QUOTE Yep, I believe in real life it is regularly serviced by 757/321 (see pics on airliners.net), and it has a 3000m runway. I was just checking and there sure are a large variety of planes that visit Rovaniemi! I also noticed that the Finnair 'F' logo is reversed on the right hand side of every one of thier aircraft's tails- I thought it was just an error with the repaint of your MD11 but I stand corrected! Weird ay?

I use the biggest Dart soundset I could find on FlightSim with my Mike Stone Friendship, and a very nice panel I found by Fraser A McKay. Comes with overhead panels too! Very satisfying, but bring on a payware one!

Well, It comes up with the Speed automatically if you correctly inserted the weights into the FMC at the start of the flight. Did you do that?
