bluesky scenery by Gottfried Razek. I have his Low res San Francisco, all of his Low res L.A. and his Hawaii low res and High res. Note Low res is over a large area such as the island of Oahu and High res is just over an airport. His stuff is as good as payware

Yea, it is a stunning scenery - hopefully you'll see some of it in my video contest entry this month (yes - I'm working on it /rolleyes.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= rolleyes.gif />). Very nice to have this accurate rendition of a bit of the Rotorua area. /New_Zealand_etc.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= >nzflag< border= 0 alt= New_Zealand_etc.gif /> Alex

Apparently the real Zero is a real nice to fly but was easily shot down as it was built very light with hardly any armouring.

I am 95% sure the RNZAF Beaver comes in the FS9 package as well as the FSX package. It better do as it is in my pinned list of payware aircaft with NZ schemes.

The scenery is better then many Simwings sceneries before. Without AI I have 49,9 FPS (locked at 50). With AI I have between 10 and 40 FPS. But this has soemthin to do about the direction I'm looking at. If I'm looking towards London City I get 10. But if I'm looking to the West I get around 40. So very different in FPS. All my AI is manually installed. All freeware!!! Both repaints, models and flightplans.

That was from the big triangle thingy taking off and they stayed there for the whole time after it left probably scripted as soon as you start taxing to the ramp.

QUOTE(ZK-MAT @ Sep 11 2007, 11:45 PM) I quite like the look, it's like they bolted on every extra wing surface they could - a bit of pimping going on! I have flown in these many times though, and I find them the worst plane to fly in (sorry Chris). Noisy, uncomfortable seats and bounce all over the place. I don't care that you can see the pilot's shoulders and centre console /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> The worst ever was a long droning trip from Timaru to Wellington. All I wanted to do was walk up to the cockpit...

QUOTE(HardCorePawn @ Sep 7 2007, 11:43 AM) This Guy is absolutely fantastic... remember... these are paintings ! He certainly is...I showed the site to our inhouse artist who drooled for a good half hour. I came across the painting of the B1 on some flightsim forum with the comment: "Must've been edited, but still pretty good!"

QUOTE(captainherc @ Sep 10 2007, 09:18 AM) Thanks for the help. I found the file. I do not know if I opened it up in the correct way. Used WORD. Changed setting from 19 to 21 and saved. went on to do a flight. Still used Rotorua as this is the originl and any change I hope will stand out from previous flights fromhere. Looked the same but now had a small ridge line along the side of the airfield. So another problem. Also notice that with the installation of the Topo etc bridges appear everywhere. Also details of their structure as with pylons is broken and not complete in parts. I am...

Well Florian you are a most courteous visitor. I'd say your comments were very kind, but actually I agree with you that NZ is a truly well-rounded flightsim experience if you get all the bits together. You'll find places by youself of course, but you may find something of interest in this longstanding thread
