mmm nice - I have always admired this model - has a bit of a Kiwi connection as some Kiwis flew these in the Vietnam war with the USAF - there is a real 02 at the Wigram museum - may be Ian can post some pictures of it?

For NZAA it was just the default scenery with a custom afcad, and for NZNP, it is the Maui 2004 scenery /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Enjoyed your collection of shots Hinch The Carter Mustang stands up well to direct comparison I'm enjoying your site too. As an aside, am I correct in thinking Eric Marciano's new radar gauge is payware/time limited?

QUOTE(Trolly @ Sep 8 2007, 03:18 AM) Clever idea and neat screenshots, what on earth gave you the idea to create this up in sunny Europe? /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> BTW, is this FS9 compatable? Idea? Misspent youth and time off work to fill... FS9. This one will be - they're straightforward 32 bit 888 textures. No bumpmap etc. Ah, I see I voted for the winner in the screenie compo then...

QUOTE(Charl @ Sep 6 2007, 11:19 PM) Mmm wondered where you'd been hiding, some radical paint jobs there. Quite like the look of that little Kamov, how's it handle? Quite nicely thanks. Being a contrarotating pair, there's no torque reaction about the y axis and no tail rotor couple about the x axis, so she does, of course, fly easier than other choppers. Too much Russian in the cockpit though /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> but at least there's mouse-over hints and it is - after all - a flying machine, so all the things you...

Stunning screenie- real atmosphere captured there. I'm loving it how fs2004 continues to delight us each day still, considering it was originally created 3 years ago!

Absolute travesty, clipping the wings of a Spitfire... Indeed, the elliptical wing variant is far more elegant. Thought I'd give this version a try seeing that I had it on my machine though. what's the extent of the photoreal? What does 1.5 offer? The photoreal is in two strips next to each other, 2500km sq kiolmeters in total over some 4.8m terrain. For some reason, it only covers half of Tamworth city, living a large landclass patch up the middle, in the centre of which, the new Tamworth airport is situated (and thats a further download all together). I'm not particually sure...

I don't try and find the best shot much when I take screenshots. If I see something I think would be good I just play around with the views while flying to find the best one and then I take it. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Alex

Hey Ludo. Thanks for the kind comment. Funny to see you here too. And the the other comments. Thanks for the support. I'm starting to study for teacher tomorrow (monday) so I'll from now on not have much time for FS. It'll take a while before I upload my next pictures.
