Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

Awesome Cirrus :) I reckon the best quality shots on NZFF are in the first few months of it's existence (before I came :P )

I think Nik sums things up nicely, and is equally qualified as anyone flying FSX to comment. I never flew this type of tour in 9, so can't really add more. As I have said in other FSX posts, I find the overall experience in X to be superior than 9, the water and the weather (I find the weather to be smoother and less taxing on the computer, especially in dense cloud) in particular. The autogen is better, and more of it which makes things look great if you can mange it. The landclass lets it down, its absolutely crap, but the better mesh is an improvement and balances that. SP1 wont...

Just wondering if he's got retractable undercarriage - otherwise that bicycle stand at the back might cause some grief on landing! Yep, he does have retracts... The pics show "gear up", gear down is for normal road use, i.e. the wings fold away, the wheelstand goes up...

West Malling is very close to where I grew up (Rochester). Sadly, the airfield was closed in 1965, and is now a housting estate (a criminal act IMHO). That's not just criminal... that's blasphemy! Nice shots though, Naki.

If I have to ROFL much more, I'll never get vertical again! Just for that I condemn you to the "Queen" seat Charl. Set yourself on the ground in her start position and then play the others as traffic. See if you can stay there ;) I often pick up old recorded flights and try to refly in other positions - more fun than finding the peanut in a barrel of monkeys. Looking forward to see a full video of any sequence.

Got to say those tie-downs look pretty ineffective - you certainly wouldn't leave it in Wellington like that! (I've actually seen a Cessna 152 take off with two concrete filled tyres still tied to the wings...) Despite that, the DF Baron is still one of my favourite planes. If only there were an FSX version (and RXP for FSX too) :plane:

wow looks good Ian, glad to see being streched across the banner paid of for you! Those are very flat islands arn't they, wouldn't want riseing sea levels if you lived there would you. Certainly is very detailed coast lines, if they are long enough to be called "coast lines". :P

I use photoshop to do it, not perfect, but you just make a very wide canvas and chuck 'em all on it. :P Alex
