NZFF

It's good, but it can be improved on. What you need to do now is get some anti-aliasing going. The best way to do this is in your graphics card options (NOT IN FS!), e.g. Catalyst control center for ATi cards.

i think the inside of that model is awesome plus the bags in the back cool mike

That's one awesome picture there. It sums up simming or aviation in general, you don't need to identify the aircraft to appreciate the freedom that pilot would feel up there amongst the spectacular backdrop of the low sun and the scenery spread out below. Nice

Nice Chris, I haven't downloaded this one, but might get it sometime. If I can keep myself out of a P3 Orion lol These shots are nice!

do you have an addon river package? You really need to connect with Christian Stock, Timmo. I run the RBE 20m mesh + topo package, and it produces some really excellent results. I have custom textures which I've fiddled with also, but again it's Christian's NZ landclass that makes it all come alive. It must've been a big decision he made, to go for it - as you point out geospatial data is anything but cheap. But NZ is priviledged to have a real country in the FS world, not many can lay claim to that.

Nope, we own them :) We have many hardcopy photos, some of which I think are owned by NZAM but the latest photos we have had done (of which we recieved both the contact prints and digital Orthorectified images for use in our various GIS systems) were done for us by and australian firm.....Frugo The higher resolution stuff for the urban areas is usually via data-sharing agreement (ie In exhange for the rest of the Whakatane district at 0.8m, we got their high resolution urban area photos...id need to check up on how we share/supply that data but AFAIK i can supply it free provided that you...

Well thats within my criterior for an aircraft, twin engine and props. :D It Looks like he is using a panel and overhead similar to his HS748 which is a terrific plane. If I remember correctly when the RNZAF flew our ones over they had a spot of bother with one, something to do with a valve on the landing gear, but our RNZAF engineers fixed it on the way over.I wonder if any one else remmbers that incident,it was in the paper I think I read it so you would have to be my vintage(63) :)

just another oldie from an old pc.

Nice shots and aircraft Trolly. Seeing this I realise that I mis a lot with my old pc!! Max.

Pity I can't hear that Spitfire shot as well. :P

Chris - Wow that was quick :o !!!!!- only just had a chance to get to the computer - family things to do and fishing yesterday. Great looking scheme (hope you spelt the name right!). Now I will have to keep my word and get the Do-27! Only snag is it is a huge file and I am on dial up (my area dosen't support broadband so I have just found out <_< ). Anway I have a good download manager and will down load in bits at a time. Cheers :plane: Naki

It's on Avsim - look for texture.zkdor.normal.zip

Good pics Alex. It's good you didn't crop and play with them as it lets the rest of us see what we can acheive. Thanks again. Regards, Codge

Yeah, that was the only problem I was able to find with them...........and the fact that you really can't fly it from a sealed strip without nasty vibrations! Good luck with the rest of this great project dude! I'd love to be the first to get a copy.

Thanks, I use F1 view module an just roll my mouse wheel back and forward to get those views, quite neat really. I dont think ill be flying that aircraft much anymore thow as I was all loaded up and spent ages going threw the preflight procedures and then realised I had only 4fps, yes FOUR! this was sitting at the gate with no autogen or anthing like and all I could see out the window was the low resolution terminal building :( So I gavce up on the idea of a flight today as flying with 5fps would be a little umm frustrating  O well Im hopeing to get a new vid card and more RAM...

You'd be able to appreciate this then: (on Flightsim.com) Name: eagle1.zip Size: 10,631,896 FS2004 Video--Christen Eagle II. 60 seconds of highly compressed large-screen action. This is what the Eagle is for - jump in and throw it around the sky! Dive through a couple of hangars, preferably inverted!

hi you might have seen some of my newest posts on here about the warbirds package or screenshots of the spitfire or kittyhawk i was just wondering where u got the polikarpov from cause i would love to have one to go in the warbirds package but i would have to paint in in proper colours

Wow that must have been kool! Pity you wernt alowed to use your camera :( Must have been neat up so close to a 772  lol James

This idea I really like, it has huge potential for some amazing screenies.

Oho another DH fan emerges from the closet... Isn't that float plane absolutely massive on dry land. I thought it was a scale error first time I saw it next to the VAS Cessna. No wonder it needed a 1,000hp engine upgrade. Someone will probably beat me to it, but there is a superb movie in the making with a starburst ending using carefully pre-planned flights from all points of the compass.
