Hi Colin,

I thought you had left the forums :blink: you are up early- 6.58am in England! :unsure:

The "boxes" are actually known as "blips" and increase as your number of posts increase. With a higher number of boxes comes a new title:

0= Newbie (1 blip)
10= Member (2 blips)
150= Forum-Addict (3 blips)
500= Sim-holic (4 blips)

;)

I think its a great idea to have all the NZers on the one server, another way could be to merge with Aussie on the one server. Then you would have more people online and transtasman flights would be a bit more interesting. The ultimate would be to have a network of servers where everyone is flying on the same global map.
As for teamspeak hopefully FSX would make use of actual radio frequencys so people have to use the correct frequency to talk to other aircraft and towers.(could also in some cases block Teamspeak and ventrillo to prevent cheating) and likewise make use of voice activated software as well.

^^^ That happens already on IVAO and Vatsim. You tune your comms to the particular ATC freq and can set up private chats :D

Some good points raised,especially Black Magic, I don't want to rubbish anyones efforts,or bite off more than I can chew either.So far this thread is only visited by a few so here's what I'll do for now.Since I have a static IP which is for the record 203.109.245.252. I'll host sessions for up to 16 and set up a teamspeak at the same IP. I just have to get my Router sorted and open the right ports,then I should have a sim always on and a teamspeak always on,then I'll see if anyones there if I look at the screen or hear them if they connect to TS. I'll post again when I think I've got it sorted.If multiplayer is that buggy we can all get IBNet.it"s free and our European simmers love it. We'll start with default MP and then switch if we feel the need. I know we all want different things,but we have to start somewhere.To start how about us rotorheads get some good screenies of as many Helos as we can,say doing like the big Whales do when they're under attack and form a star pattern tails in the middle facing out? That would be quite a challenge.Formation Helos as we know is infinately harder than flying fixed wing,we will need to practice,so start posting what time suits best and we''l come to some arrangement. The star thing is just an idea,it don't have to be that it can be anything,to me it's flying choppers with others.Anyway I'm off to the router manual see if I can't get this thing sorted,I'll be back when I've sussed it. :blink:
