Postby captainherc » Sat Sep 15, 2007 4:32 pm

I am atatching some screen shots of how I unzipped a file. Can anyone explian if this is correct and if not guide me in the right direction. If correct where to from here at the last shot and installing into sim programme.

The list of addons I want to add to my FS9.

Right clicked and got this box. right clicked on 7Zip.

Now clicked on extract.

New dialog box opened. Clicked on open.

Added new file to those existing with same name as zip file it came from. Opened file.

Got two more files. Opened one on left.

Got all these folders.
What I want to know now is where to and how do I get there to do it. As you can most proberbly guess I am not that coputer savy. Once I get the jist I will be ok (I think). Any one in the Whakatane area able to meet and help or I can phone and discuss as my tolls are free for me any where in NZ, just mail me your number.
Many thanks in advance.

That looks alright to me, I can't see all that well due to the size of the pictures, though.

What you will need to do next, is to copy that folder (AICL604 possibly) into the appropriate folder. If it is an aircraft, drop it into the main aircraft folder of MSFS. If it is a scenery folder, drop it into the 'Addon Scenery' folder, and activate it through there smile.gif
