Hmmmm - at that alt it is unlikely to be the reason!!
More of a prop man myself so not so familiar with the 737 800 panel/start-up/down procedures but suggest you cycle through cockpit views until you bring up throttle/fuel management - turn off fuel pumps and shut down generators...Dart 15![]()

Yeh, I've done that. I'll probably have to just go home leave them going and let the next pilot worry about. Might get the sack though!

Hold it!! I've found the toggles that switch off, hidden under the main throttles. cheers & thanks for your attention !!

Your IAS will not rise much above that. As you climb, note your Mach Number, TAS and GS, they will all be increasing. You will not be able to fly as fast (across the ground) at low level due to the denser air.
