Rex 2 Help

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

A shade off topic - pun intended. Lately I've been encountering a pinkish tinge to my sky conditions (REX2) between surface and 2000 MSL. Not in all locations - mostly in FTXPNW but I did get some in Italy the other day. Will try the REX forum as a last resort.

It seems dropping my cloud textures down to 512x512 is the only bearable solution which sucks. Even with 1024x1024 res clouds and todays wx in Auckland (grey and rainy), my FPS were hovering around 6 - 14! ohmy.gif With 40km vis and a few CU I usually get a solid 30FPS.

Any more ideas? REX are realllll slow at answering customer support in their forum.

Andrew , thought , load your WX once loaded then turn it off , start your flight a t the chosen airfield and switch on real world weather in FS . Sometimes it kick-starts the weather , course bring the resolution back before hand .
