Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Make mine a craft beer.
Surprisingly, I can get a variety of NZ craft brews over here thousands of miles away. Yeastie Boys Brewing - Digital IPA, 8 Wired Brewing - Brown Ale, Epic Brewing - Armageddon IPA, among many others.

I'm out of NZ at the moment but have a pack of six bottles of duty free to uplift on the way back thru. Using up most of my wife's share and my special members discount, it's a pretty good deal....e.g.twin pack of Johnny Walker Red at $23 Per bottle. To follow along with the topic thread, I won't go into the rest including the single malts except to say I am very partial to a nice bottle of Laphroaig.....My theory on whiskies are that they are for old blokes like me whose taste buds are stuffed from abuse.

Prefer the more middle of the road single malts other wise they start getting too peaty for my tastes. Also prefer them straight with just one or two drops of water to break the surface tension and release the aroma.
