I pulled the Corsair book out smile.gif , just to get a feel, sure as heck beats the old MSFS pacific style cockpit, with the talk off gluing the/a new sound package makes it even more appealing cool.gif

No ... no ,no ! we dont need a bloody F whatever Corsair , it will make 3 or 4 screenshots and be thrown aside like a childs half sucked biscuit .
How many screens do we see of thier 737 ? , the Sabre ?, or the stuka ? (and Im to blame as well , i have them all)

Imagine , Milviz and Captain Sim teaming up to reinvent the herc ! it has civi applications , so the whole family can fly the damn thing , they dont all wear war paint.
There are some classics out there, just waiting for an upgrade .... Ricks 748 for example , or the VC-10 .

I know i bleat on about things like , a good fsx AH-1 , Lynx etc .... thats just dreaming , and i know that. But as i said , some real classics .... just waiting , all the work is done ... bring it into the future!
And dear God save us from yet another bloody Cessna .... unless , its a real nice Citation.

These thoughts , are solely mine , and in the grand scheme of things , will, no doubt amount to nothing ...... but a Corsair? (as much as i love them)

Corsairs? pirate.gif Here be rumblies, Cap'n. biggrin.gif

But I just paid for one which needed a lot of tweaking, so I'm damned if I will pay for another, or even the promised upgrade for this'un.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

In my view there is a need for decent FSX Corsair... it's way under represented compared to Spitfires and Mustangs etc. The only model is from A2As basic range and it has its faults. Milviz have to make what sells. As I understand it the Stuka was a commercil failure.

Funny that you mention Milviz and C130 as they have a C-130J underdevelopment. Also a Citation will be out next week (touch wood) from Carenado. Eaglesoft also have one underdevelopment.

I like the Corsair but I don't think I'd be buying it. If it was a F4U-5.... it might be a different story.

Pity that , actually heard even before release they got bored with it but at least it was done for us STUKA fans .... a keep looking to the skies waiting for the siren but to only find its a sparrow chirping for some bread crumbs.

Think we should train Marty up driving the aircraft carrier in the MP and we would have two already on board as the air-wing smile.gif Sure we will get a lot more once they see how we are cooking
