Outerra is really coming along.
Be great if developers like ORBX got onboard.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Yes still a bit of work but the systems that they are trying to put in place will really speed up the scenery development side of things.
I guess other issues such as ATC, Navigation and AI will be other challenges.
Looks promising though...especially if they can get mainstream devs on board.

Its a race for the who's who, similar to 1994/95 with the different sim's competing against each other, 20 years later the ball game has changed again so its going to be a whats your choice ....

Not sure about the others you mention , but i wont screen that A2A (being a visual type screener ) stang again ..... because of the "dead" guy in the cockpit. winkyy.gif
Horses for courses i guess , but for me that A2A model (which i own) is a mule.
Great for the button pushers ... bless them .... but not me .

One reason its great to have the real McCoy pilots notes winkyy.gif but looking at the progress here Outerra has a long way to go yet.

No no, he's not 'dead' just zoned out from flying too many missions under high stress levels without enough caffeine to keep him alert. A good night's sleep should see him come right - either that or he's going to get jumped and shot down very soon . . . . .

It has to be the movies I think - I'm sure that the phrase 'beware the hun in the sun' must have been mentioned in The Red Baron - if it wasn't mentioned then it should have been!

Quite strange how you recall some of the lines ... Outerra almost or to me looks very CBFS1 at the mo , very clinical.
