A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby Brennanx » Thu Feb 01, 2007 12:18 pm

wassssssssuupp (i wanna be different) im Brennan i am 14 and 15 in march i was born in Wellington and now live in Auckland. I like flying almost everything but my favorite to fly would be the 737 becuase it's just cool :)

I have gotten .6 of an hour flying in a mighty grumman and some day i would like to be a pilot like my dad who captains the a320.

I have got flight sim 2004 and flight sim X. On Flight Sim X i cant have the scenery on more than low becuae other wise it starts to be slow.

and im new to this fourm and site =D

Welcome all new members nice too see new people from different backgrounds joining up hope too see you around.

Phil it sounds like you have had an extremely exciting career and hopefully be able to share some of your insight into your chosen career path too a lot of the younger members on these forums look forward too chatting with you some time.

Brennanx welcome to the forums hope you enjoy your time like a lot of us we are still young and learning so any questions just ask theres a lot of "older" and "wiser" members (lol not pointing too any in particular hahaha) who Im sure would be more than happy too put the simming hand up and help out.

Well Id say thats just about enough outta me so Im going to go crawl back under the rotor-blade I came out from and go do some more pointless stuff on the net while I have time lol oh wait I have 2 more days of pointless forum banter hahaha guess ya stuck with me.

You better hurry if you want to fly the F-111 as they will be gone by 2010 - to be replaced by the F-35 although since this is running late more likely in the interim by Super Hornets - good luck anyway

actually the RAAF is keeping them for another 10 years now as the f35 jsf isnt an all-weather aircraft and has limited stealth capabilities and i also heard that boeing had raised the price of the f35 so I think i will have enough time to fly the F111 I'd also be happy to fly the super hornet but preferably the F111 and back in the day when i was 6 that was when computers didnt have good graphics and i think i was on the computer when we first got one which was when I was 5 (computers were relly expensive back then compared to todays standards)

Hiya, I'm James, 21yrs. Been involved with FS for many years and designing on and off. Way too many projects unfinished and not enough shared :)

I'm a tyre technician by trade (finally found something I love for a job hehe), and would love to go for my pilots licence at some stage or another. Just a matter of $$$.

Lived in Wellington my whole life and am an amateur photographer, mainly aircraft (obviously), but done a few weddings too.

Looking forward to being part of this community ;)

Yes, big welcome.
Think you'll find it's a good spot to get motivated and get that longstanding FS project dusted off.
It surely will find some appreciation around here.
