Hi

Yes they have been drawn. you had to be there to win.

Todd

I was Todd, so i had to stay all day did i. Thats not a way to do a prize draw. I should have just arrived when it was going to be drawn.

Nice to see some of you on the day. I had to leave about 1pm to get to a house auction back in auckland.

I must say the communication was not the best re the draw as it does say in a previous post that ' Everyone who walks through the door goes into a draw for the chance to win a couple of what I think are pretty awesome prizes.'

I think we all filled in our names and numbers and were never told we had to stay until the end of the day, which would have been impossible for me anyway.

Aside from that, thanks for setting things up, they dont happen often out our way.

Ian, I know it's hard to not come away and look like a whinger when you post something like I did and I do thank him for putting something together. It doesnt happen often.

Still, it's not just the organiser that makes an event, it's the people that take the time to travel and attend. It wasn't a large meet and at least half the people who were there when I was would have left before the end of the day. IMHO it's not a great consideration to them and them time they put in to the event by changing what you said on the day.

Thats just my 2c and I dont mean it to detract. It's constructive criticism and seems to have bugged a couple of people - probably everyone that left before the end of the day really.

It is great organizing an event and joining in .. Tauranga four five years back at the airshow , recall one young NZFF simmer jumped on bike rode around to the local bakery and out of his own pocket brought us all sausage rolls .. he was my hero on the day ... only wish i could have got up but still have a few transport issues .
This is were Todd's offer for to pick us up was reminded me of the same generousity from NZFF members cool.gif
