i am going to hazard a guess and say about 4mtrs tall, i can give the toatal area of 16.72m2 if that can count as a bonus point!!!

ok, what is the first thing you must do and the last thing you must do before and after refueling your aircraft (after the aircraft has been shut down of course)

Not 'earthing' the aircraft is it? Getting rid of static electricity before refuelling springs to mind...

I was going to say attach and remove the grounding clip... but isn't that the same thing as earthing the aircraft?

The idea is to ensure that the aircraft and the refueling equipment have the same potential... so there is no chance of a voltage differential buildup which could result in a spark and lots of 'fireworks' dry.gif

HCP, you have got it, the correct term is called bonding. earthing is when a metal stake is driven into the ground, and the aircraft or fuelling equipment is attached to that, Bonding is when the reufelling equipment and aircraft ar connected to each other so the static charge is equalised between the two, and stops static sparking,

over to you HCP
