NZFF

Hi All. I have an issue that I cannot figure out. I have the AKL Real NZ Scenery installed with a payware NZAA airport scenery. When I come into land in the PSS Pro 773 on runway 05R (ILS 110.3 + HDG 51), the 733 doesnt line up on the runway properly. The HDG indicator on the MCP says 052, not 051 like it should and the plane wings do not stay level, they sway left to right. It locks the localiser perfectly (APP & GS normal). Any ideas?

What payware NZAA scenery, Im not sure I know of any?

To be honest I do not know who makes it or where it comes from. It was given to me in a folder called Nova Zealandia - NZAA. I put it on to check it out (NZAA look so good). It was running fine yesterday, but I flew to YSSY from NZAA and come to think of it, had the same issue on approach. The PSS 773 just will not stay level. Have just finished a reinstall of everything. The PSS 773 still sways but not nearly as much. The heading on the airport is still 52. I just updated all the AIRAC data on the 733 FMC, and it still has the error of 52. On the MAP in game, the HDG is 51. This has really got me scratching my head.

Maybe its the airport scenery
or it may be the pss 777 that may be doing it.

Id be interested to see the scenery ,Nova was a building tool or placement tools packs with objects , if you can work out how to post some pics id love to see it as ive never ever heard of a payware Auckland airport apart from the one that is being built by Robin ,

the payware part could just be the nova gold objects ...

is this 2004 version or FSX your running ?

I am beginning to believe it is the scenery. Was trying to get auckland_real_nz_airports.zip from AVSIM, but its not available. Does anyone know of a good AFCAD for NZAA that is compatible with Real NZ. Will post some pictures tonight. Can someone post some terminal pics of NZAA from real Auckland City for comparison.

Well, after some testing I have nailed the issue down to the PSS 777 plane. I have reinstalled everything (including fs2004) several times and problem only exists in the PSS 777 plane. I tested several other planes, and the issue does not appear in them. I am at a loss! The B773 is a great plane and I prefer it to the Wilco version of the 777. I have a video I made in FRAPS, which I will upload to show you all the issue. When coming into land at NZAA, the heading is still 052 on the AP display. The track shows the plane changing from HDG 052 to 051 and back and forth, while descending on the GS. Will post link to video tomorrow.

Yea its a known problem with the PSS 777

A known problem? I had it installed for 3 weeks flying perfectly, the the issue appeared. It's a real shame, it flies so good.

Ya, there was a patch to update it.

I downloaded both SP1+SP2 for the PSS pro, but it didn't make a difference.

Well, finally found a way to upload the video. There is no input from me in the video clip, the plane is on autopilot. Strange issue.
