While doing a flight from Christchurch to Auckland last night on FSX I saw two shooting stars one above the other ohmy.gif they only lasted a few seconds, I have seen Northern/Southern lights before but never seen shooting stars. Has anybody else here witnessed them before?

Shooting stars!.... blink.gif ... blink.gif ....!

Don't you just hate it when that enormous copy of the Encyclopaedia Britannica falls off the Bookshelf onto your head, whilst in the middle of an enjoyable FSX Flight... angry.gif ...!

Yep - saw a shooting star once in FSX - mighty impressed (as I often am with FSX)

The Effect folder has 2 'shooting star' files so there must be 2 flavours? FS9 has the same files....

fx_shootstar1.fx
fx_shootstar2.fx

I have only seen a shooting star once in my years of simming. It was in FS2004, after departing at night from Miami in my Dornier Alphajet a couple years ago.
