I'm thinking about buying this as a little Xmas present for myself (already bought a new vacuum cleaner for the wife ).
It has everything I need + force feedback + additional rare features and the price is awesome ($340 NZD on pricespy)!
I found this convincing review here. Watch part 2 as well, it's worth it!
Never seen anything like this before, and I truly believe that Saitek and CH is in a bit of a trouble now...
Any thoughts?

Dan , only NZ340 , i have a yoke and throttle rudder , these a Saitek , i originally had CH which i swore by , but this thing is at this cost GO for it the tipping over on the desk is easy fixed , its the force feedback that interests me here , i do wonder if a yoke version will come out but again at that price JEEPERS !

Looks pretty good however I've always stuck with a basic joystick "Cyborg Evo" as I think spending $340 on a control system for flight sim is a bit much.
However if you have the money then by sure go for it..I just had a quick look at the review which is pretty good and there is no doubt about how good it will be for flight sim.
Though for $340 you could treat yourself for an aerobactic flight or something along the lines...

Holy damn, now i want one. My joy stick is getting a bit old and worn out.
Just have to find $340 lying around somewhere.......

Yes, some may find them a bit pricey, but hey, the Saitek and CH ones are at least $500 if you buy them with the pedals...

I snapped one up of trademe for cheap a while ago and really enjoy it, had a few problems on set up initially mainly cause I'm very green to simming. I've switched off the force feedback because I mainly fly choppers and its nothing like the real thing.

They must be parallel importing that G940 - dealer buy is way OVER $340 - and that's NOT including GST! Hope PCPacific don't do the dirty on you with the sale - their PS reviews don't look too good... let us know how you get on, both with the purch and the usage!

Dont forget to go to http://www.fs-force.com/ for there Force feedback addon. It will bring your new controller to life due to the fact that Microsoft's naitive force feed back is a joke. There is a free demo so cant hurt to try. Let us know what you think of it.

I've been using the G940 for 6 months. Good value for money, although I did have some drama's working out how to configure it properly. The current version of drivers fixes most of the bugs so when used in conjunction with FS Force, it is IMHO one of the better package systems available. Make sure you Google up any info outside of the commercial reviews before you commit to buying. Not all the forum posts are favourable.

If you are going to configure the split throttles for anything more than two engines you will need to do this in FSUIPC, unless you are happy to have one throttle controlling four engines.

Having pedals makes a world of difference, and it is also great for choppers. My Cera Bell 212 comes to life with it!

Looks like a good kit, and you really can't go wrong with Logitech.
I personally use a Saitek X-52 system (along with Saitek Rudder Pedals), so you may want to keep that option open as well.

Is it choosy on what joystick is used.

Logitech produces Flight controllers, not flight simulators. I think you are a little confused.

Thats a very good price! We can't even buy them from a supplier in Australia for less than AUD$370 odd!

I been trying to do it threough FSUIPC but no luck...I dont think my Neuropsychiatrist would be too happy with the head banging on keyboard with setting this awesome bit of gear up

Anyone know of any simple solutions to setting up MD-11? And yes, forums outside the Logitech commercial sights are better options from what I have found thus far

Has to be better than the Num Pad for rudder control. Keyboard is really starting to annoy me as far a rudder is concerned. Ever since flying real world weather with REXE, and getting that slew effect big time.

Love Logitech always have, I have the G15 keyboard ATK3 joystick and a set of 5.1 surround speakers that you can't get anymore and they just keep on trucking.. Sub Woofer alone is 300mm sq.

Great they do Force Feed back... really want that, as I think it would add another element to the Sim experience.

If you like to fly your Jets then looks great. Personally I'm looking at the Saitek Pro Yoke, Throttle and Rudder System ( but yeah lot of money, think I would rather upgrade to the GTX 680 as duel GPUs arent working for FSX really ) but then PrePar3D 2 is coming?

PS: Vacuum cleaner is a Household Gift... Go buy your missus something nice just for her, and dont forget to run that Vacuum every now and then yourself.
