I really want one...fits in with the cutlass, skyray....and all those other honeys from the 50's and 60's. Just sent that link to the boss at Wigram...might give them some new ideas about display set ups.
Thanks Ian.

Thanks for the link H500Fan actually Speaking of US NAVY this would be cool to see on feb 12 2011 in san diego.

100th ANNIVERSARY OF NAVAL AVIATION
Kick off Celebration & Aerial Reviewâ€￾
(150+ aircraft) NAS NORTH ISLAND;
expect more than 150
aircraft to fly in the parade: this will be the LARGEST
MILITARY AERIAL PARADE SINCE WORLD
WAR 2.

The US Navy is billing the show as a once-in-a-lifetime event that will allow the public to see the aircraft in flight from
vantage points all around San Diego Bay. The event will also include a timeline-like display of aircraft from vintage planes
to the newest fighter jets, an opportunity to tour a $4 billion ‘super carrier’ and amphibious assault ships, and watch a
tactical demonstration by Marine aircraft and ground equipment.

Not like the actual thunderbirds, silly, more like one of those "helijets." I think it could've morphed into one of these, given a few mods laugh.gif .

What a great site smile.gif

Does go to prove with some of those fin examples that with a big enough engine even a pallet load of cinder blocks will fly.

Go to a Russian Museum , you will then find your 'Thunderbirds' without modification tongue.gif
