Wanted... your old junk

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby SeanG » Wed Mar 16, 2011 8:04 am

I am looking for old, broken USB gaming devices for a "budget" cockpit project...
My intent is to build the cheapest cockpit, and write up a complete how-to so that others might be inspired to get into the cockpit building game for not too much money smile.gif

So... I am looking for any kind of *USB* joysticks, gamepads or any other programmable input devices to be gutted and used as the interface for the panel..... any offers? I can pick up from anywhere around Christchurch, or pay reasonable courier/postage from further afield.

And of course, you'd get your name in the credits for the sim and article ;-)

Sean

Thanks Ian, any donations gratefully accepted.. you know you'll have to test fly the thing once it's done right?
