I've been there since pretty much inception.

It's great, and has a really good, but heated forum as well.

Most of NZ is tied up and I'm not sure what they're doing with their gates. The group that I fly for (Niska) does have a hub set up in NZQN as well as Alaska.

#1 suggestion - whatever you do have fun, fly for a while, don't get in debt early unless you only fly the one plane all the time before you joined. FBO ownership isn't profitable, unless you are really dedicated to that spot as well.

I drift in and out often, but feel free to hit me up if you have any more questions.

Sounds interesting. I had a quick look over the site but couldn't determine what the story was with aircraft. Are you able to use your payware addons like Carenado or are you stuck with default ones?

Definitely able to use payware planes. There are even some models that are specific to planes. C130 has generic, and captain sim, and then there is the dreamfleet 58 as well. But overall all models use the payware version info.

I flew FSeconomy for a while, and still have my account there so technically I could jump right back in. The downside with FSeconomy for me was the lack of 'big' planes. It's really a GA/ prop system. Even if you had a worldwide company, you'd still be servicing it with a fleet of DC3s
The other thing that bothered me (when I decided to leave) was that not all airports had fuel. So sometimes you just want to fly a job, but you can't due to lack of fuel nearby (because someone left the plane empty), and had to fly even longer/ further out of your way to include a fuel stop somewhere. Fine if you are single, no kids biggrin.gif
But, granted it's an excellent system that is enjoyable to use and certainly gives you some purpose to your flying.
Now days I just use Air Hauler. The same thing really, except no aircraft limitations, fuel everywhere, but kind of lonely compared to flying in the FSE community.
