Hi, anybody using this new tracking software?? Just needs a webcam.
Got to be worth a shot.
Search "facetracknoIR"
Interesting as I was thinking of a hardware solution now may not need one. ;-)
Just hoping someone has tried it.
Any reports?
Cheers Sonnyj

I have used it for FSX and it's not bad at all. It does take some adjusting to get it right but overall not bad. Learning how to set up the curves is still something that I find challenging and hopefully they will keep making improvements over time .

Just tried it now using multi screens with a LCD screen plugged into a laptop, with the LCD being the main screen. Seemed to work fine.

I cant seem to get it to work. All that happens is it moves the vc camera outside the aircraft and aims it straight up

OK I'm loaded ;-), I mean software is working for me. Certainly gonna take a bit of fine tuning tho.
Re your "vc camera outside and straight up".... I guess part of the initial set up is so point the camera back at ya correctly.
If that doesn't work. Pass? Maybe a search on google may show some solutions??
Cheers

Just a thought have you got FSUIPC.dll module installed?
EDIT:I see it uses Simconnect for FSX

I've read about this some time ago. I'm happy with my Freetrack setup for now

It supports almost every game/simulator

It dose get a bit fiddly and a bit of time, many payware addons wont work without it .

After lots of playing round with settings I finally got tracknoIR to work. It is a very cool add for flight sim wouldnt think of flying without it now
