Was thinking of doing these. Is it easy to add a carrier and also would want to get a good S3 Viking to us with it.
Cheers.

Adrian , now ya hit a nerve here , this is my FOOT A tongue.gif , Good training is the Grumman Trader COD , or i could lead you in the deep end ... another good training carrier is using Bruce Fitzgeralds CV-6 , adding a carrier is easy but Flying Stations have downloads that can have you up and running in minutes , Ark Royal 1979 type for example or go back to WWII with the Illustrious class and other end you have the brilliant freeware USS Nimitz .

For carrierops I use Dinos T45C for trainning as well as Javiers Carriers and AICARRIERS2. Javiers carriers are highly detailed US carriers and AICARRIERS2 allows you to place carriers anywhere and you can make them move or turn etc. As well as that I use vLSO which gives you an LSO to talk you into land on the carrier it also after you land gives you a rating based on real carrier landing qualifications and logs the landing. You can then view your approach in vLSO on a graph to see where your speed and position were and what you need to improve your approach. Unfortunately I do not yet know if vLSO supports the S3B but there is being added to vLSO a S3 Tanker that circles the carrier and you can use for inflight refuelling. Maybe in the next version of vLSO we'll see that, these addons are all freeware and worth using. For payware I use the VRS Superhornet and Tacpac both of which can be seen in here:

Heres a video of me doing a carrier landing in the FSX acceleration Hornet using vLSO.(yes I landed even with a wave off lol)

Do you happen to have a link to VLSO? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

EDIT: Found it.
