General Aviation AI Traffic

Hi - I'm relatively new to FSX.
I'd love to set up General Aviation traffic for a small airfield ie. Rangiora.

I would love to practive overhead rejoins with traffic already in the circuit.
Is there software that will generate circuit traffic, Touch & Goes?

I've tried GA-Traffic, an older free product I found mentioned online, however, I simply cannot get it to work / produce any traffic.
I'm using Win7 64bit which I think I read may interfere with GA-Traffic?

Can anyone tell me how to get GA-Traffic working, or recommend another product?

Hi Chris and Welcome to NZFF!

Orbx have a freeware GA AI which populates NZ..or you could try GNZLAP which is at avsim (built for FS9 though sdo needs some modification to make it work). IIRC the Orbx product incorporates part of GNZLAP in any case.

Hi Chris , are you training out of Rangiora , for starters have you run FTXTraffic and turn the general aviation slider up to suit ?

Hi yes, I fly now and then out at Rangiora... working my way towards currency.

I've tried FTXTraffic as suggested.
Under views it does add many aircraft (mostly ghost white aircraft)... The majority of them sit on the ground at various locations... very few at all are in the air.

Are there any addons that allow you to add circuit traffic / touch and go traffic at a specific airfield? (Ultimate Traffic or the like?)

From what I read of 'GA-Traffic' it does this... however I cannot get it to work at all.

Have you pushed you GA slider in the settings to the max ? i was checking Rangioura yesterday and my setting are at 40% round about and i had three takeoff while in the pattern .
