Many of you will be aware that one of our most prolific freeware scenery creators and NZFF member recently had the misfortune to experience a computer meltdown.
See post http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20130.
I for one have enjoyed using Lawrie's sceneries for many years up until, unfortunately for me, Lawrie defected to the dark side (Byte hungry FSX). His generous creations have certainly enhanced my flight sim experiences and I still use them in FS9 to this day.
Rather than posting I thought that I would try to individually PM high or current posters to see if they felt as I did and would like to contribute a little something to help Lawrie get up and running again so that he can continue to churn out his works.
Unfortunately the NZFF PM system has some limitations as to how many PM's can be sent and my use of the CC function to effectively increase the number of PM's per 5 minute withholding period may have inadvertently confused or missed many intended recipients that may wish to have taken part.
If you wish to contribute to this "computer rehabilitation fund" then they can be deposited into the following account 12-3076-0433017-02. The account is audited by our well known administrator, Deeknow to ensure all is on the straight and narrow.
To those who have already donated I thank you.
Last day for contributions will be 7th of July.
Many thanks
Steve
