Wondering what everyone's preferred flightsim routes are, if they have any. Looking for some places to explore with light aircraft specifically on my end, but please post any preferred routes, globally.

A few from me:

NZRO - NZNR
KDCA - KPHL
CYOW - CYUL
UUDD - URSS

I'm a "domestic only" virtual pilot, I do all flying within NZ. I fly the GA planes between small bush strips, but when I fly the BAE 146-200, it's usually either of these routes:

NZWN - NZNP
NZWN - NZAP
NZWN - NZMC
NZWN - NZMO
NZWN - NZQN

These all have beautiful/challenging approaches.

One flight recent I did was into CH-WN in the 146, using the flight-map and ILS, nothing going in into Wellington following instruments went suddenly the airport is directly in front of you and your smack on the center line.

My latest route was to NZ123 Melbourne via a circle... Somewhere over the Tasman my lovely PMDG 747-400 decided to just fly in circles 2 or 3 times before resuming its flight path. Not sure why it felt the need to do that or if it just wanted to screw with the pilots of NZ884 out of Sydney...

As for light aircraft routes, I will usually do something into or out of Queenstown because it's a lovely area to fly in or out of

For me....

A regular flight down California Pacific Coast Highway 1 and 101

From Santa Rosa (KSTS) via San Francisco (KSFO) to Santa Monica (KSMO) or Los Angeles (KLAX).

...and back...

In small GA piston prop (Beech Baron 58TC) King Air turbine, and business jets (Lear 45) aircraft...

..and simulated Motorbike rides...

Not forgetting the wonderful "Route 66" from Chicago to Santa Monica!
