Hi I am new to this forum and a long time fs9 and xplane user.

Recently my HDD fried along with all my add-on's I lost all of my flight sim data more than 180 Go sad.gif
I have been able to find almost all of my old add-on's online except the NZ ones especially the payware form Red Baron/Sim Pilot Experience sad.gif I know that it can not be found online anymore and believe me I looked.

I would like to know if someone knows a way to get this awesome fs9 add-on .... I am ready to pay A LOT to get this software back I want to fly in NZ New_Zealand_etc.gif in fs9 and do not want the default NZ topo which is horrible so if someone here has some advice on how I could possibly get the "roads and rivers of New Zealand" back into my sim that would be great news.

Cheers

Hi there

Welcome to the forum (And the general insanity that radiates from us...) Fortunately for you this nuthouse we call home is the right place. There is probably a high chance someone here can point you in the right direction to recover that which you seek...

What add-on's are you looking for? If you can give us a run down of those we can all probably help in some way to help you recover your NZ FS stuff (To the best we can)as most is still available in some way, and get you back in the skies and not having to suffer the abomination we call "Default"

Hi ya and Welcome to NZFF , I'll see If i can track down Christian Stock and see what i can , as for FS9 scenery I have all of it on HD, the best start is go here http://www.freewarescenery.com/fs2004.html and pick thru it and list the scenery you cannot get.

Co-incidentally, I noticed the 'featured' file on the LINZ site this week is the NZ 8m Digital Elevation Model, originally created by Geographx. This appears to be an updated version of the dataset which Christian Stock used to build the NZ 20 metre mesh all those years ago, and now licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 New Zealand.

That makes pretty much all the data which Christian used for the topo and mesh scenery available under a very useful license, so someone might want to put together a freeware (or otherwise) package for FS2004 to replace the old topo/mesh.

Hi

First I would like to say Thank you for your great help for the add-ons.

I have found almost all add-ons the only one that is missing is Christian Stock's topography scenery (redbaron entertainment/simpilot Experience)
The worst part is that way back when the website was still online I purchased the full package.... If only the website was still online.

If anybody Is able to contact Christian Stock or if someone has a boxed edition of the scenery I would be ready to pay for it.

Once again thanks for all your help.

Cheers

One of my favourite posts on this forum. I wish I could help you Nzpilot, however I've never used FS2004. Best of luck, welcome to the 'nuthouse' tongue.gif
