As i was drifting off to sleep last night , thinking about ... did i lock the garage? , do shrimps communicate ?, will 6 tomato plants be enough to share with the family? ..... did i lock the garage ?? , you know , the usual stuff. winkyy.gif
And then , i started compiling an FS bucket list .
It went something like this ....

1: Real looking rain
2: Volumetric prop texture for the CaptainSim C-130
3: Perfect FS9 port overs for FSX (no prop disc's that disappear in cloud)
4: A pure FSX Jaguar (not the car) ... all models.
5: A MilViz quality Airtruk .... come on , its # 5 , and I'm getting tired cool.gif

And when I awoke this morning (which is always good) ... my thoughts yet again turned to FS . .... and all that's missing (from my point of view) some of which was backed up today.
1: (here we go again laugh.gif ) FSX quality HP Victor , and Valiant , TSR2 , .... so i guess that's 2 & 3 as well.

Horses for courses i suppose , but how many variants of the 737 do we need ? how many Cessna's ? , I'm not condoning war in any way shape or form , but i think most of the advances made in aviation came from conflict ... so , lets celebrate evolution , albeit reluctantly for some .... and I'll give you a credit on the Airtruk .... i doubt that , that, did much to progress aviation .... but who knows.

I still think a good Jag would be great laugh.gif ..... sleep well simmers laugh.gif

This sums it up. There are so many planes that get done over and over and over and yet so many models that don't get touched at all...

Late last night, I hooked into watching the HeavyLift Short Belfast documentary, something like that was brilliant, would an ideal FSX aircraft to be added , after crawling in and out off the wheel wells of the C130 a month back and comparing the size .. a CS-C130 update would be a goodie.

The only FSX Belfast I know of is an upgrade of the old Alphasim FS2004 one. It can be found at flightsim.com
It uses the default 747 panel, and by some reports the FDE is not all it could be. It does have a VC.

It is a pity but I guess maybe I the future an upgrade, one off the biggest thing is comparing the size of the type compared to a Herc when doing the walk around preflight.

The visual model of that one works well but the flight dynamics need a major rework in order to work well under FSX. I tried that one out for a while

Oh yes, it's almost Christmas time so wishful thinking is perfectly appropriate smile.gif

Here's my list:

- Rain on VC windshields - like in Train Simulator 2015 (those guys have serious issues with dates)
- An intelligent ATC that works for both IFR/VFR
- Proper 3D clouds (no more 2D texture trickery)
- Proper icing effects
- AccuSim for everything (no more "flying textures" please - yes you know which developers I'm talking about)

Oh, and if you say P3D or X-Plane does all these I'll switch right now.

Thanks in advance Santa!

Now that would be really nice, because most of my favourite aircraft for my FSX are FS 2002/FS 2004 models.... biggrin.gif ....!

...and as for the Jaguar?...Mmmmm.... unsure.gif ..never did fancy Motor Cars... tongue.gif .... winkyy.gif ....
...but a nice, shiny, chromium-plated, Yamaha XVS Vee-twin, Dragstar, would suit me very nicely....
...for Christmas...please....Thank-you Santa!.... notworthy.gif ....!

Paul....Mostly in a Bucket.... biggrin.gif ...!

P.S....Note: I have corrected all Marty's lower-case "i"'s into upper-case "I"'s....Sorry, Marty!.... tongue.gif ... laugh.gif ....!

P.P.S....Blimey Doc Scott!....That 1280 wide, rusty bucket Pic of yours, has stretched my 17 inch Monitor, and this thread, well beyond its horizontal limit!.... ohmy.gif ..... winkyy.gif ...!
