Chainsaws needed for West Melton

Doubtless this topic has been raised before but can anything be done to remove/replace the ridiculous placement of trees on various approaches. The 03 (i think) at West Melton is a case in point - is this part of Christchurch Photoreal?). ORBX (which I use for both NZ and UK regions) seems particularly bad for this. It's very annoying. I guess there is no easy answer.

Hi Keith, I can fix that ... I did fly in here in a Devon , Ironic one coming out I so want to fix this for myself , I really got side tracked not due to lack off interest, all areas around Southern Christchurch need a good kick in the butt , I did not get bored with it , just need to take some time out .

Its interesting, on one of my trips to WA we stayed at a lodging which had a private airstrip. One end of teh stip was headed by a pine forest which had a bunch of trees cut down through the middle just for the planes. Would make for an interesting landing.

Surprising what people do to land in a specific area , them there tree stumps , yud want to make sure they are ground level.

Getting to be a bit off a problem , soon as ORBX AGN was introduced I knew this was going to be a problem, I currently cannot edit the area , the GUID codes wont load , this has to do with the FTX switch's , one reason I have alway's said stick with default then adjust.

I'll have to figure out another direction ! ... wish it had stuck with MS default !

Now I do wonder and know it can be done to returned to MS Default , It would not take long , simply grab and go ... OBRX dose have a thing now with not using their AGN Guid's .. Frankly My thoughts and direct keep using default and was mentioned this then everyone can use it , the photo and only loss off AGN is using the sliders to adjust to suit the PC , We will see what happens .

As Ians chainsaw isn't working I have ducked out and cut the hell out of those trees on the flight path into 04 at West Melton
sorry I have kept all the firewood for myself
Any one wanting the chainsawed version of NZWL shoot me a PM and I will send you a link to the tree massacred West Melton
Once you have that you will be able to glide in instead of dropping in to 04

I know the tree line needs to be a lot denser, I have not played around with the West Melton ORBX models, I tried to refer back to to the default.

It was a lot denser until I got into it with a chainsaw you would be surprised how many truck loads of firewood I took out of there.
Did I prune it out to much if I did give it a few of years and the trees will grow back to be more dense than I have cut them back too

At least at the moment you have a choice of dense and trees to high or using the chainsaw fix patch and having them less dense and not to high.
