What is your favoured style of flying?

Which do you prefer the most:

VFR (Visual Flight Rules) cruising low and slow and enjoying the scenery

or

IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) soaring high and fast in the heavy metal aircraft

IFR for me of course! :D

I do enjoy the vfr very much but can't realy enjoy it properly on such a low end system.

But deffinitly te big iron for me lol FL390 in a 767 watching a sunset ahhhhhhhhh :P

I have a low end system too (waiting for FSX and a new one.)
But low and slow in an older aircraft in a nice scenery......
It's such a big world: you can spent years, this way.

Well I like a bit of both, it depends what sort of day its been. If its been a horrible day and I've managed to pick up 5 different assignments I like to slow down and relax in a nice VFR aircraft, and if its been a slow day I don't mind keeping to schedules and feeling a little important :P .

Well, both really, but probably IFR slightly moreso.

Pretty 50-50 here too. Both give me a lot of enjoyment, and frustration I guess

With the 20m & topo low and slow(under 200KIAS) in a 737 is fun as you get to see how slow can you fly the "big iron" without falling out of the sky. Good power on tap to get to a different area quickly (without cheating) and the challenging landings that only the big jets offer. I like the Helos for the same reason-But even a C172 with some decent weather like a 20 knot crosswind can certainly be a workout too. I think that is the best thing about FS that it caters for all the different preferences, even boats and cars!

Two engines is really one to many...

A paraffin burner is what you heat hangars with...

If God had meant us to fly planes with flat engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made em that way...

If you aren't picking grass out of your undercarrieage after landing, you were too high...

You got to get down amongst the scenery to enjoy it...

Screenie - Hamburg Germany - anti-glare shields over the approach road parallel to runway 33 / 15 (so that landing planes aren't blinded by car headlights.
