I was thinking of having a go at building a fs model of the New Zealand P51D mustang ZK-TAF anyone willing to send some detail photos attached of the plane to try and get
it a close as possible. Yes I have been on google but trying to get more detail shots than just fly bys or from a distance.

Anything attached to this post would be much appreciated or just pm me.

You need to get some books on the Mustang , You can't have mine, very good one give you a line plan and the frames as so you can build the structure, then need to scan into PC and to GMAX or what you are thinking of using.

I was going to use Gmax , I don't need any books but just need detail pics for the skin.

You doing a paint only ? .. GMAX is a model program, builds aircraft or hangers .. then a lot more to then create textures .. all you is a paint program.

I have a personal interest in this aircraft having been lucky enough to have a ride in her in 2011. I have a few closeups from back then but I think there maybe a few new decals added since. If I can help let me know

I'm off to an event at Warbirds HQ in early April and, if TAF's there, I should be able to get any close-ups you need.

Great photo's Zac, be absolutely ideal for Glen to work on one example for a drawing .. a learning curve .

Better photos than the ones I have I think. Looking forward to see some more
