In the company I work for our approach preferences are;
1 ILS
2 RNP (AR)
3 RNAV
Then the rest of them apart from NDB’s.
So unless we need to do another approach for training or currency or the weather is good enough to do a visual approach we would do ILS’s into AKL WLG CHC or DUD.

the standard advertised approach into NZAA (provided all equipment is functional) is ILS/DME for 23L or 05R.
if not on a visual then most aircraft will fly the ILS or the RNAV X (north) Z (straight in) or Y ( from south).
after that there is the LLZ/DME or the VOR/DME etc down the scale.
