MSFS WU7 - Australia

This is the first world update that has really got my interest, I've flown more today that I have over the last month! After exploring the cities, I'm just choosing pairs of little airfields and doing short flights in a 152:) Plenty of interesting places, and fewer mountainous bits to challenge my little aircraft. Even like the photogrammetry, especially Melbourne, although I didn't think that Sydney was up to the same quality, but it might just have been the servers getting busy by then. Custom models are beautiful, though, we're lucky to have Orbx so invested in Aus and this sim in particular.

Installed with no problems - but have yet to do some AUS test flights. Fingers crossed!!

Any idea on when the NZ WU might happen?

Adam.

I'm not holding my breath. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised one day this year....

To be honest, I'm unlikely to download it. I'm concentrating my 'addons' to NZ only right now as I start to begin pursuing IRL microlight license again (just got my medical sorted).
I'm hanging out for a world update for NZ and hope it doesn't break anything I have already bought or downloaded when it eventually arrives.

Having said that, I downloaded the Dee Jing freeware Vans RV-7 and re-started my GA 'round the world' trip that began in FSX, then moved through P3D v2, v3 and v4 before now progressing in MSFS2020. Takes a while in an RV-7, but I re-started where I left off in Marseille, went to Nice and then on to Rome which is where I am currently parked. I have a large laminated A0 world map and I draw my path on it as the flight progresses; its probably been a couple of years since I did this last, so nice to get back into it. One of the legs on the current flight plan has me flying almost 1000km or around 6.5 hrs into Nigeria. I'll need to do that at a weekend! :)

Have you guys flown out to Longreach yet, to see the Qantas 747, 707, Constellation, Catalina, etc ?
