Favourite Freeware addon

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Just wondering what your favourite all time freeware add-on is.
Dunno what mine is. It may be the FFX 737-300

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

This topic has sort of been covered already:

http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1051 (by yourslef even)

Anyway, they are based on aircraft mainly.

For me it would be the RBE Mesh and Topo package, it enhanced my simulation experience like no other addon has!

Kelburn have you seen the freeware Vistaliners B737-300? I'm sorry but I think the ffx 733 is a little tired now days. Check it out, it's much nicer, and yes, free:

I've been busy flying the 50 north so not tried it, but I would think it should be better than the ffx.

Nah I haven't, I went out and got Test Drive Unlimited instead rolleyes.gif so I've not actually been flying much over the last couple of weeks.

The Vistaliners 737-300 is a lot better than the ffx, but there's no Air NZ repaint (That I can find sad.gif )

Vistaliners = FFX are both Eric Cantu, I didn't realise they had been updated in any way, just re-branded.

its the same you can tell by looking at the middle of the fuselage, I think Erik forgot to wel some verticies so you get a kind of weird shading error in both.

i would have to say the world of ai for me, make installing and adding ai so easy, and they have a good range to, models look great, and no real performance hit.
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
