Postby brownbox » Sun Feb 10, 2008 2:31 pm

Well, my brother recently went overseas, and came back with presents for everyone. My present was a brand new copy of FS2004! So, I hereby announce my return to flight simming!

http://www.avsim.net/ is live and well, but their library is out of action at present. try Flightsim....

Try simpilotexperience.com for Red Baron. ;)

It's unusual that avsim isn't working, I'd imagine it'd be up and running again shortly. You've still got places like sdnz.co.nz and flightsim.com etc. :wink2:

Ill also take the look around the other ones, and let you know how I go.

Any idea when avsim will be up and running again?

Great to see you back BB, this was copied from the avsim front page today:

Library Issues
Posted: Sunday, February 10, 2008 - 4:30

As most of you are aware, we have received the emails from you, AVSIM is having Library Cookie issues at present time. We are working dilgently with Network Administrators, the Network Operations Center, and internal staff to correct the issue.

On February 23rd, 2008, AVSIM will be upgrading the library server to ensure the largest, most available bandwidth for flight simulation in the world.

Until we can rectify this situation, we ask that enjoy the other sections of our site to include the largest forum, advertising, and news on the web for flight simulation. WE WILL be back shortly, bigger, faster, and better then ever.
