Hi All

Just a heads up that my company has asked me to list a Matrox TripleHead2Go on TradeMe as the demo system has been upgraded to a TripleHead2Go Digital. They are not looking for a fortune so if anyone is thinking of one of these it will be a good buy.

Hi
just read your posting. I was thinking of getting a Triple Head2go. Has this already been listed/sold on Trade Me do you know?......Ah read the other postings no need to reply. I wonder what would be better Matrox TripleHead2go or Track IR, they sorta do the same thing dont they?
Cheers

TripleHead2go means you can hook up 3 monitors to your computer, so effectively you get a wide angle lens, kind of.

TrackIR is something that's worn on your head (cap, headset) and also a receiver on top of your monitor. The movement on your head translates to the movement of your view in the game.

Search on Youtube if you want a visual expiation.

Thanks for the info guys. I just ordered a TrackIR from VR Concepts after reading a few reviews from here and elsewhere. i always thought they were a bit gimmicky but after what Ive read lately sound pretty useful. Matt at VR Concepts was really helpful too. Reckons he can get it to me in Akld tomorrow as well. I was saving for triple head2go but that would be about 3x the price with the extra monitor Id need to buy

NZ255 I notice you have a Palit Radeon HD4850 graphics card. Ive just bought a new system which has a Sapphire Radeon HD4850 card. My previous system was AGP and I had a Powercolor Radeon x1950 Pro card. With that card I had the option of horizontal stretch which meant I could have two monitors side by side and stretch the image over both monitors It worked fine in vc I dont seem to have that option in the new system that I can see. Got any ideas. Could be something Im doing or not doing maybe?

By the way Im looking to sell the Powercolor x 1950Pro graphics card If anyones interested. Its a very good card with Dual DVI 512mb, DDR3 256 bit and 6 mnths old but is AGP Id look at any reasonable price

Cheers
