There are some great streaming videos available from www.airsidetv.com...Join Air New Zealand ...flight 651 from Christchurch to Queenstown.
Happy viewing,
Alex

It is a great video. There was a challenge at one time (I think on that site) to recreate the flight in FS.

What a Good Idea, I thought, and made a video, using the cockpit chatter from the original.

I snailmailed a copy of the DVD I burned, to Paul Brennan of Airside TV in Wellington.
This was many months ago, and I heard nothing. I thought it might have been misplaced, and emailed the site.
Still no response.
I can't think why they'd flat ignore somebody who (having taken a fair amount of trouble) sent them material.
Maybe there's a copyright issue with the soundtrack?

Whatever, their loss is our gain.
For the exclusive pleasure of viewers at the the NZFF, then, here it is

EDIT: Checking the link I see that it stops just before takeoff!
It's a 50MB upload so maybe that's the issue (although I understood 100MB to be the limit on Photobucket?)

That's pretty cool, I have that original video on DVD -- it's amazing what you can pick up from Whitcoulls for 10 bucks...
