P-51 - The UNSTOP GAP .. A2A

For everything about online flying around New Zealand

Postby Ian Warren » Sun Jun 03, 2012 3:24 pm

We all love the North American P-51 Mustang - Now the first MP in a while with one HELL OF A SMILE Me and Greg

I said a 'Stopgap' with WBS's P-51 , now that is a very nice and gorgeous model ... um but umm .. A2A has come away this day cool.gif

Lucky I did a training flight yesterday .. forget GA this is constant Maintanace and really requires constant real flying ... FRIGGEN UNBELIEVABLE

Chatting the operations of this model .. slick and as true

prepare landings ... cockpit management , the entire model is mind boggling biggrin.gif

Parked up for the afternoon , i'm going back to re-read all my Muzzie books and manuals

Seriously Super Highly Recommend

It was a great flight in the new A2A P-51. Christchurch to Foxpine.

This last shot shows the intrepid Ian going for a downwind landing!(check the wind sock next time Ian!!) The consequences were a long runout at the far end of the strip and the opportunity to round up a few of the sheep in the next paddock.

Thanks Ian. If only the price of fuel was about half what it currently is I would certainly head back to chch more often. Can't afford anything these days..
For now I just have to stick to burning virtual jet fuel.
Heck I've not even been in a real plane in over two years. sad.gif
