Pre 1950 Jet Fighter, Under 5,000ft. Timed!

For everything about online flying around New Zealand

Postby wolfmanslack » Mon Dec 03, 2012 9:19 pm

Hi guys,

We have been comming up with ideas for some of our online flights for next year, and this one come along. I quess because of the F-86 for FSX, but that still has to be proven.

Flight Plan,
Starting at one airport, stopwatch starts at race marshalls instruction. The flight route is in a canyon, so mostly straight but easily followed (which helps with the speed factor)
Stopwatch is stopped upon landing at destination airport.

Any single jet engine fighter, that flew before 1950.

Opening this flight up for ANYONE that would like to join us, will be in Jan next year.
Not asking you to join our V.A., just come along for the fun.
FSINN server so we will have to get you hooked up before the flight. Also we use SKYPE to chat to each other, but depending may change to Teamspeak if enough want to join.

Any questions let me know.

Cheers

Stu

Come on Marty, you will be timed. So when you beat Ian, there will be no excuse that he can make on why he did so poorly blink.gif

Well the race was run, and I must say that I let myself down.
Due to technical Issues the F-86 was retired.

Leaving the race to be won by the beloved P-80 shooting star, in a time of 1:04:38.

A re-run is planned for a little bit later in the year.
But it will be open to "ANY PROP driven WW2 bird"

Cheers
