I can happily join in some guy's Mexico City session, but not in NZ! :o
Were any of the participants from the Auckland area?

I'd love to be able to pin the problem down, as I opted out of FS9 multiplayer because it was just so dam' clunky.
Hope there's a fix possible.

Hey Charl....The ping often can show up as strange numbers that aren't accurate.....I also had the ping at -1 and it worked fine. Hayden was flying with us, hes from Auckland. :)

i had no problem with pings whatsoever- when you exit the server it has the proper ping, in my case it was about 150ms

OK what it did was to come up repeatedly with the password dialogue - I assumed it was a connection issue?
Uh, the password was taupo was it not?
It may be a network/firewall issue this end - as I mentioned I had no luck previously with online MP, that was due to network problems.

Hmm interesting Charl. Ian is having some issues as well.

I do believe this requires that prior to the Airshow we will be having a 'practice' to ensure we can all get in and that everything works as it should. The team displays need to do this anyway, we don't want problems on the day. I will organize a time, however I don't anticipate it being a Friday server exercise.
