Hello Chums...

...!
I have joined in Multiplayer flights on various Sites for the past 10+ years, (and still do so , daily), using FS '98, FS 2000, FS 2002, FS 2004, and CFS 2, but like many/most of my fellow Pilots, have always preferred using the "Chat Window" for communication....

....!
I have a full Headset, Headphones +Microphone, but having to re-arrange all the Audio connections around at the back of my Desktop Computer, at very short notice, to connect and join, is not worth the time and effort for me....

....!
An instant click and join, using the FS 2004 drop-down Connection Menu, (using the popular FS Host IP Addresses), does the job, in the minimum amount of time and frustration!
....plus the fact that Headphones make my ears hot and uncomfortable after a short while!...

...!
So there you go Chums...
How popular would we; "Chat Window Blokes" be, joining in with the NZ Multiplayer Sessions?....

....!
Often the fun part of Chat Window usage is is observing, and commenting, on each others typing errors, etc, during a last minute, frantic manoeuvre, for the rapidly approaching runway beneath us...and typing at the same time!....

.....

...!
I/we presently use the Simviation, Worlds Serious Pilots, and Inspire (NZ), etc, FS Host Servers for my daily Multiplayer FS 2004 Flights....

...!
It would be interesting to know the ratio of; "Teamspeak to Chat Window Pilots" amongst us all!....

....!
Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Navigator....and a nice clean Chat Window!...

...!
P.S....Note; that FS 2004, and previous FS Versions, don't suffer from the same Multiplayer Connection problems that FSX users suffer, using "Gamespy?"....(we use FS Host).....
http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshostspy/P.P.S....I also avoid the dreaded; "Port Opening Problems" in the Flight Simulators, associated with Routers, by using a simple ADSL, wired, USB, plug-and-play Modem...and NO Router!
