Just wondering but just say you use FS2002 can you fly multiplayer with someone that's using FS9?

On all networks that I know of (VATSIM, IVAO etc) you can, and also on private servers like the Inspire one I'm pretty sure you can as well.

I'm not sure if an FS2002 user can connect to an FS2004 user's self-hosted multiplayer session, but I'm sure someone can clear this up for you. :)

You can probably use a Program called FShostclient to connect. I've used it before in FSX to connect to the Trans-tasman Endurance Challenge.

Try it out!

FSHost can be set to cater for FS2004 and FS2002 players. You set which versions you want to support when you start the server.

The latest FSHost version (3.2 beta 1) offers FSX connectability via the FSHost client Brock mentions. I'm not sure the version 3 server does - perhaps Brock could try connecting to Inspire and see.
