I'm in the US Eastern Time Zone, so I'll post both my time and New Zealand time for those that want to join.
Format = US Eastern / NZ Time

Date: Friday March 22 (US) / Saturday March 23 (NZ)
Time: 1900 EDT / 1200 NZDT

Situation:
I have VLC and multiple custom freeware/payware sceneries, so I was thinking about doing the following route in a "light aircraft".

Route:
Taupo > Rotorua > Whakatane > Tauranga

Server:
NZFF/NZInspire as the primary server
Sim-Outhouse.net as the backup server

Weather:
Real world

Aircraft:
I will likely use one of the following...

Carenado Piper Seneca - ZK-BJM livery (zk-bjm.zip @ Avsim)
Carenado Cessna 182RG - N6113V livery (on Aussiex)

Notes:
I will be using FSX and connecting through FSHost.

Hello Sean... biggrin.gif ...!

I was going to pop in for this one in my Cessna 182RG, until I realised that your 1900 Eastern Daylight Time (Tea-time) is around 12 O'clock midnight (Bed-time) for me (GMT...EDT+5).... sad.gif ...!

Bloody Time Zones!... laugh.gif ... laugh.gif ...!

Paul....FS 2004 + FS Nav....and a cup of bed-time Cocoa... cool.gif ...!

....I would be fascinated to know if anyone actually turned up for Sean's Tour?.... rolleyes.gif ...!

Very few Simmers seem to be at all interested in "Multiplayer Sessions" nowadays, like they used to do in olden-times!...which is a real shame!

Paul...regular Multiplayer!... cool.gif ...!

I logged on for about 20 minutes but no-one was around that I recognized. Not quite sure how to boost interest in multiplayer....

I'll certainly be more keen when the sun stops shining (ie winter!)

Hello Sean!... smile.gif ....

As I mentioned previously, I would happily have joined you in the session, in my FS 2004, (like I generally do), but the NZ Time Zone (12:00 PM Mid-night!) got in the way again!

There is nothing in this World more confusing than; "NZ Time Zones"!.... sad.gif ....They always occur at the wrong time of day!... laugh.gif ...!

Paul... cool.gif ...!

Actually, 12pm is midday not midnight so you could have been there if you didn't have work or lunch to get in the way!!

Edit:
Oops, just realised that you are in Britain , not NZ so definitely a bit late for you chaps . . .

You got it, Sca!... biggrin.gif ...!

Me? An Ancient Brit!... thumbup1.gif ...!

Our Sean (on the USA Eastern Seaboard) is a lovely accommodating Lad. Knowing that I/we Brits, Europeans, etc, are on the GMT Time Zone, he generally arranges his USA, EST Time Zone (his afternoon) flights to occur during our; "Evening" Time Zone....which means that I never miss them!

...Otherwise his; "late evening" EST Flights would occur during our/my GMT night-time! (EST +5 Hours!)!

I have "Fox Clocks"* arranged at the bottom of my Firefox Browser, indicating the various precise times around the World, for instant reference...VITAL for Multiplayer Sessions!
You need to know what time it is, for the rest of your on-line Mates around the World!

Paul...clocking out.... cool.gif ...!

* https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... foxclocks/

My indicated Time Zone Clocks:
GMT/UTC, USA Eastern Time, USA Central Time, USA Mountain Time, USA Pacific Time, New Zealand Time.

Yep, an essential add on I think.

As for ancient Britons, I think of Boadicea when that comes up and I'm pretty sure that you aren't that old!!

Oh dear, now I feel a need to apologise for insulting one of 'The Ancient Ones' who live among us and deliver their wisdom if approached in a humble and sincere manner.

Hmm, I would probably miss out on the wisdom because of my lack of respect and humility.

I've got a few years to go to catch up on you but have to say that time seems to be accelerating in the way the years go by now .. . .

Hey Ian, sorry buddy. We use a fsinn server, didnt hear back from you.
Let me know about hooking up one night, try it out yourself you might like the way it is all set up.
Then if you do like it we can see if anyone else is keen to try it, just another option.

We do have guys in the states that fly with us and also from England / Belgium that would be happy to meet up and fly.

O.K. guys,

yes time zones are a pain in the bum at times, with several guys in our v.a. in different time zones once a month we start early down here to catch up with those up there.

but to SeanTK and Fozzer, guys if you would like to catch up with our guys that live around you. I would be happy to put them on to you to catch up and get some flight time in.

NO I AM NOT asking you to join our V.A. or anything like that, what I am going to say is we have a server and guys that like to fly.
So happy to join the two together, let me know if you want any more info.

Cheers

Stu

This is how we have our online setup
(FSINN server, two small downloads and setup with password, and we use SKYPE to chat to each other during our flights but could change to teamspeak depending on pilot)
