A friend of mine is wanting me to show him the ropes in FSX and I was wondering if that shared cockpit thing in multiplayer still works?

If it does, could someone give me a quick how to guide to get two PCs in different houses to share the same aircraft VC? Cheers

Andrew it dose work on most aircraft , Lotus L-39 is a goodie for it - all the defaults , Captains Sims Herc worked and hav'nt the 737 yet .

Do I just give my mate my computers IP address, then he enters that into his FSX and it will find the session I'm hosting?

YIP easy as that .. get him to put in the LAN host box and away you go , make sure you tick shared cockpit - you may require a few starts but once going its brilliant

No cigar, we both tried to find each others IP's but neither could connect to the other.

We could multiplay on FS Host but not shared aircraft. Do ports need to be forwarded or something to be able let each PC see one another?
