I'll be online tonight at 9:30pm US Eastern Time, which is sometime on Saturday afternoon for those in NZ I believe.
Won't be using the Tu-144 due to lack of interest expressed in the lesson, so I'll likely be flying around northern Minnesota, USA in a helicopter or small prop plane, doing some hopping to local airports.
If you plan on joining me in FSX, please download the "My Town Minnesota" freeware scenery package on flightsim.com, so that you can see all of the appropriate lakes and towns.
mytownminnesota.zip is the filename to search for on Flightsim.com. Just checked and it is still available.
I will be connecting to the "FsFlyboys Community" server, just for FSX, detailed at the following page:
http://www.fsopen.co.uk/info/sessions/?HostID=3267
Again, look for me in a few hours (9:30pm US Eastern). Haven't used the internal FSX multiplayer system in a while so I may need to get used to how some things operate there, so I'll also try to be on Teamspeak as well on the channel that NZFF uses. (I'll dig up those details later)
Aircraft:
Minnesota probably has the most seaplane bases per capita in FSX, and as such, I'll likely be flying between them using the default DHC-2 Beaver (w/ default green/white livery) for much of my flying.
Alternatively, I may also be found in Nemeth's FSX-native AS350 Squirrel/A-Star, in a Canadian Coast Guard livery.
The CCG livery is available at flightsim.com, and is erroneously put in the FS2004 section, but is for the payware FSX helicopter version.
Filename = canadian_coast_guard.zip
