brilliant Jon, Ill do my best to get there, is there a particuler route to be flown?

And remember everyone to lock your fps at 20 please, otherwise it can cause probalems for other players.

Anyone want to do shared cockpit with me?

Is that FPS lock necessary? I haven't had any problems with FSX multiplayer in that regard.

Also, ATIS will be provided in the chat window, be sure to check it.

FPS lock down isn't an issue. Jimmy, check the NOTAM, details on flight route are in there.

ah okay, I just know that with fs9 when players have fps unlocked it can cause others not to be able to accses or get disconected etc.. wow did ms actuly fix this!

check the NOTAM, details on flight route are in there.

I can see that the flight is WN-AA-WN, I ment what airways to follow what waypoints etc... if we all want to fly on the same route witch woudl be kool would be better to discuss that route now ae, Ill just go SID PM H325 HN STAR at FL270 :D

Good point, flightplan is up to you, ATC will guide you initially and determine separation, and then hand you to own navigation

Ladies and gentlemen

Some frequencies you will need for tonight (some of these frequencies will only become active if it gets busy)

Wellington
ATIS 126.90
Tower 118.80 (I'd advise you to tune to this one first for radio checks)
Departure/Approach 119.30
Runway 16 ILS 110.30
Runway 34 ILS 109.90

Auckland
ATIS 127.00 (I doubt this freq will work, check chat box for NZAA ATIS)
Tower 118.70
Departure/Approach 124.30
Runway 5R ILS 110.30
Runway 23L ILS 109.90

Tower controllers will assign altitudes to aircraft on intial contact, but we'll be taking requests :)

C u all there

well I was really looking forward to this today, I made a quite an effort to be free tonight to come along for this flight. I had been having terrible troubles with fsx so I took the time to do afull reinstall, I then eagrly stuff down my dinner to come and have a nice online flight... god for a moment I think I may have been quite happy.

Sitting there starying at the fps counter in great frustration, well at least I didnt have to stare at it for much longer, before I even managed hear the damn voice coms I was looking at the discription of that lovely 280dollar graphics card during my pcs boot sequence!!!!!!!!!

Yeah and it wasn't the firtst time today eathier, so I waited for it to restart, got informed my "computer has recoved from a serios error" yeah as if I didnt' know, then start up fsx, join the multiplayer game, wait a few minutes for the RW weather to load, then spend anothor few minutes opening the aircraft selection menu etc.. finaly get back in the sim, it puts me in the air "near the host" even thow I select gnd at nzwn, tuned in nzwn_twr on the radio, and as I was request a radio check for the 3rd time the whole system jsut restart again. NO im not going to try again, why bother!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!

So if you notice im not there tonight don't think "oh theres james saying hell come along but not bothering" cos I blody well did try.

So I tried to suport you guys online night.....

James

Howiever let me be the first to say TONIGHT WAS GREAT I was the first flight out (NZ 442) and the first flight into Auckland (I didn't return to Wellington) but the ATC was the best, very professional

will be very happy to do it again

Oh and with that problem with starting in the air I had that as well I ended up just starting on the runway and taxing to the gate at NZWN

overall I had a great time

yes, that's very frustrating. if that happens, it's easy just to slew to a gate and start from scratch.
awesome flight tonight tho. would have been nice to head in a little earlier (closer to 7) when there were more people, and a joint cockpit might have fun, but at least I had the airbus autopilot to 'entertain' me.
Also great to see my 'Blue' repaints getting a good flight :D so thanks Jon and Nik for organising and hosting this great event

No worries boss...........Trust me....I'd be grumpy to if I was having problems with my computer. FSX is big beast.......it can make old super computers look like calculators :)

Just a side note...........I read straight pasted the password in the NOTAM (Everyone say it with me "Nik........your a Knob head" :D  ) Sorry about that Jon...... :ph43r:
