This week we'll be having our online evening at Queenstown from 8pm NZ Time (0800 GMT). Come along and try your hand at the challenging departures and approaches.
Alex

and flew the descent from 10,000ft down and passed the correct dme distance and altitudes like any other vordme approach but when I got to slope hill I had to some how get 300,000pounds down 4000ft in 2nm (its harder than it sounds!
)
How are you ment to do it? Whats the correct proc?
a bit big for Queenstown
I ended up doing a similier thing anyway, just a bit of an orbit, witch ended up being about three orbits, think I managed to fly over every part of queenstown whilst I did it! Pity it doesn't say to do so on the approach plate, or I didn't read it thoughly, an unexpecting pilot not a happy pilot!
