Wanaka to Tekapo
NZWF - NZTL

Join us in a light aircraft for a VFR flight at Wanaka. Departure time is NZ local time Sunday 08:00 (Saturday 2000z). We will fly together as a group (formation) to Lake Tekapo. This is a fun get together for a scenic flight with friends. En route chit chat will be allowed :) The flight should take about 45 minutes. The route is as the crow flies, or GPS direct. It is preferable that you join as a pilot and fly in the group rather than as a Controller. Choose your aircraft for the flight wisely as we will want to fly together - if you have a fast aeroplane you will leave us behind.

LOL! Sorry, I just copied that straight from the IVAO forums, they use different Smileys to here, which is why it just showed up as the text I think. Serves me right for not proof reading

It was a really great event, and it actually worked, holding it in the morning! A really good turnout. Sorry the screenshots are so poor; I'm useless at editing, and even worse at fiddling around with camera angles to get a good shot in VFR

We were circling for about 40 minutes waiting for people to get airborne

IvAe screenshot, I'm not sure how to get a better quaility on these...

En Route. I was in the lead at the start, but IvAp crashed (I think it was so surpirsed to see some traffic!), and then I was quite a way behind

That's all I took ;)
